Akil Muhtar Özden (1877–1949) was a highly influential Turkish thinker and politician during the one-party period, whose ideas were instrumental in shaping Turkish nationalism and Kemalism,[1] he also served as a parliamentarian during the multi-party period. By profession he was a medical doctor.[2][3]
