Alec Berg is an American comedy writer. He wrote for the sitcom Seinfeld and is co-creator and executive producer of Barry with Bill Hader.[1] He also co-wrote the screenplays for the films The Cat in the Hat, EuroTrip and The Dictator. In addition, Berg is an executive producer of Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm and has directed numerous episodes of it, and also an executive producer of Silicon Valley.[2][3] In 2016, Alec Berg signed an overall deal with HBO.[4]

Berg is of Swedish descent.[5]
