Aleksandar Stojiljković (Serbian Cyrillic: Александар Стојиљковић; born 24 May 1990)[1] is a Serbian football midfielder who plays for Scarborough SC of the Canadian Soccer League.

Club career[]

He started his career with ČSK Pivara, but he was sent out on loan several times. Later, he joined Sopot and OFK Beograd.[2] He played with Čukarički since 2012, and was one of the players who stayed at the club after the arrival of a new owner.[3] After Čukarički was promoted to the Jelen SuperLiga, he didn't get much game time, playing just two matches in the league and two in the cup, and he was sent on loan to Sinđelić Beograd.[4]

In 2014, he went overseas to Canada to sign with SC Waterloo Region of the Canadian Soccer League.[5] In this debut season with Waterloo he received the CSL Rookie of the Year award.[6] He featured in the CSL Championship match against Toronto Croatia, but were defeated by a score of 1-0.[7] In 2016, after Waterloo were relegated to the Second Division he signed with Scarborough SC.[8] He received the CSL Golden Boot after finishing the 2017 season as the top goalscorer with 17 goals.[9]

In 2019, he assisted in securing the CSL Championship after defeating FC Ukraine United.[10] In 2020, he assisted in securing the First Division title, and in reaching the championship final against FC Vorkuta, but were defeated by a score of 2-1.[11]
