Ampahitrosy is a suburb and a rural commune in Analamanga Region, in the Central Highlands of Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Antananarivo-Atsimondrano and its populations numbers to 5,654 in 2018.[1]
It is situated at 16km from the downtown Antananarivo. In the north it borders to the commune of Soalandy, in the west by , in the south by Antanetikely and in the east by Bongatsara.[2]
