Anna Benjamin David is an American author, journalist, coach, speaker, podcast host, and television personality.
Early life[]
David was born to Jewish parents.[1] She is a graduate of Trinity College.[2]
Career[]
Book and magazine author[]
David is the author of the novels Party Girl (HarperCollins, 2007),[3] Bought (HarperCollins, 2009),[4] and the non-fiction books Falling For Me (HarperCollins, 2011),[5] Reality Matters (HarperCollins, 2010),[6] True Tales of Lust and Love, How to Get Successful by F*cking Up Your Life and Make Your Mess Your Memoir. Her book By Some Miracle I Made It Out of There, co-written with Tom Sizemore, was a New York Times bestseller.[7]
David has been a contributor to The Daily Beast,[8] Details,[9] Maxim, Premiere, Parenting, People, Us Weekly, Time[10], MindBodyGreen, MarieClaire, BuzzFeed, and Razor.

Relationship expert, speaker, and coach[]
David was the sex and relationship expert on G4’s Attack of the Show[17] and has been featured on Good Morning America, The Talk, Hannity, Red Eye,[18] Dr. Drew,[19] Jane Velez Mitchell[20] and The Insider[21] as well as on various other programs on Fox News, CTV, MTV News, VH1 and E!.
In 2010, Anna started speaking at colleges about addiction and recovery.[22] That year, she began delivering the keynote speech “Surviving and Thriving in an Addictive Society” at colleges across the country.[23] In 2015, David became a certified life coach through The Life Coaching Institute. She works primarily with writers looking to advance their careers but also helps people with their personal and career issues. In 2017, she gave her 10-minute talk, “How to Wear Your Labels” alongside Tony Robbins at the Genius Network Annual event.[24] In 2018, she spoke at TEDxOhlone, TEDxLosGatos and TedXUniversityofSanDiego.[25]
Launch Pad Publishing[]
In 2017, David launched Launch Pad Publishing, a company that includes workshops, retreats, a live monthly storytelling show, a podcast, as well as a book publishing division.[26] The core of the business is based around the Launch Pad Publishing company, which released Darren Prince's best-selling memoir, Aiming High: How a Prominent Sports Agent Hit Bottom at the Top and Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Joe Gorga's memoir, The Gorga Guide to Success.
The Launch Pad podcast has featured interviews with Marc Maron, Dr. Drew Pinsky ("Dr. Drew"), Moby, and John Taylor of Duran Duran, among many others.[27][28]
