Aquidauanense Futebol Clube, commonly known as Aquidauanense, is a Brazilian football team based in Aquidauana, Mato Grosso do Sul state. The club was formerly known as Escolinha de Futebol Aquidauanense.

History[]

The club was founded on December 10, 2001,[1] as Escolinha de Futebol Aquidauanense,[2] eventually being renamed to Aquidauanense Futebol Clube. Despite finishing in the 10th position in the in 2007, the club was promoted to the Campeonato Sul-Mato-Grossense. In 2011, the club was runner-up in the Campeonato Sul-Mato-Grossense, losing the final to the Clube Esportivo Nova Esperança.

Stadium[]

Aquidauanense Futebol Clube play their home games at , nicknamed Estádio da Noroeste.[1] The stadium has a maximum capacity of 5,000 people.[1]
