Ashish Dixit (born 2 November 1990) is an Indian actor. He is known for playing Abhijeet Dalvi in the Indian television drama Dil Dhoondta Hai (2017) and Bablu Awasthi in Bal Gopal Kare Dhamaal (2014-2015). He also played lead role in Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se (2018), season 2 of Kaun Hai? (2018) and in season 5 of Gumrah: End of Innocence (2016) as Neeraj.[1]
Early life[]
Dixit was born in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India on 2 November 1990. His family moved to Kalyan, Maharashtra when he was three months old.He raised in Mumbai. He completed his undergraduate study from the Model College, Kalyan. He graduated from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College Of Engineering and Research, Nagpur University and after. After working in a software company, graduation he decided to make his acting career in Bollywood. He started off his career from Indian television industry which got him to fame.[2][3]
He got married with actress Shweta Kanoje in 2019.[1]
Career[]
Dixit made his acting debut in December 2013. He rose to prominence for his role of Guddu in the soap opera Aap Ke Aa Jane Se (2018-2019).[3][4]
He acted as lead character in Zee TV's Dil Dhoondta Hai and Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se, DD National's Siya Ram – Ek Prem Katha and Big Magic's Bal Gopal Kare Dhamaal. He later appeared in TV series including Laal Ishq, Kaun Hai? (season 2), Code Red, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Gumrah: End of Innocence, Savdhaan India, and Crime Patrol.[2][5][4]
He played the lead character in Gandii Baat season 4 (episode 1);.[2][3][6][7] He played lead role in 2016 Hindi film Garam Reth and supporting role in 2016 Hindi film Akira.[8][4] Currently, he is working in the web series named Tinders.[9]
