Attack - Part 1 is an upcoming 2022 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed and co-written by Lakshya Raj Anand.[1]The film produced by Jayantilal Gada, John Abraham and Ajay Kapoor, stars John Abraham alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh.[2] Based on hostage crisis, the storyline is inspired by true events.[3] The film was originally scheduled to be released on 28 January 2022, but now the film is now confirmed to be released on 1 April 2022.[4]

Principal photography began in January 2020.[7] Production was put on hold in March 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic.[8]

Release[]

The film was originally scheduled for theatrical opening worldwide on 14 August 2020.[9] However, it was delayed due to the shooting suspension.[10] It was scheduled for release on 28 January 2022,[11] but it was postponed indefinitely due to the surge in Omicron variant cases.[12] On 3 February 2022, the team officially confirmed that the film would be released on 1 April 2022.[13]
