Attack: Part 1 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language science fiction action thriller film directed by Lakshya Raj Anand, who co-wrote the film with Sumit Batheja and Vishal Kapoor, based on a story by John Abraham, who stars in the film alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh.[1][2] The film is scheduled to be released on 1 April 2022.

Synopsis[]

While battling his personal inner demons, a army veteran volunteers to become part of a governmental experiment to become a cybertronic humanoid super-solider developed to combat terrorism.

Production[]

Principal photography began in January 2020.[5] Production was put on hold in March 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic.[6]

Release[]

The film was originally scheduled for theatrical opening worldwide on 14 August 2020.[7] However, it was delayed due to the shooting suspension.[8] It was scheduled for release on 28 January 2022,[9] however, it was postponed due to the surge in Omicron variant cases.[10] On 3 February 2022, it was officially announced that the film would be released on 1 April 2022.[11]
