The Indian weed caterpillar (Australothis rubrescens) is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found all over Australia (including Tasmania) and in Papua New Guinea.
Larvae have been recorded on Sigesbeckia orientalis,[1] , , , Nicotiana tabacum, and Stylidium productum.
