Autoimmune encephalitis is a type of encephalitis that can result from a number of autoimmune diseases including:
- Rasmussen encephalitis
- Systemic lupus erythematosus
- Behçet's disease
- Hashimoto's encephalopathy
- Autoimmune limbic encephalitis[1]
- Sydenham's chorea
