The Avignon Punic inscription

The Avignon Punic inscription is a Punic language inscription found in the Quartier Ouest of Avignon in 1897, by a builder digging a trench 2-3 meters deep on the boundary of a property. It was first announced by fr: Mayer Lambert.[1]

It is currently held at the Musée d'archéologie méditerranéenne in Marseilles. It is known as KAI 70.

It is considered to originate from Carthage.
