Bagheera is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language adult psychological thriller written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran and produced by R. V. Bharathan under Bharathan Pictures.[1][2][3] The film features Prabhu Deva in the leading role along with Amyra Dastur,Remya Nambeesan, Sakshi Agarwal, Janani Iyer and Gopinath Ravi.[4][5][6][7] The soundtrack and film score is composed by Ganesan Sekar, with cinematography handled by Abinandhan Ramanujam and editing done by Ruben.

Production[]

The film was officially announced on 18 October 2019 and the shooting began on 1 November 2019. The teaser was released on February 19, 2021[12] by actor Dhanush.[13] Deva is appearing in multiple avatars in the film as was evident from the posters released earlier. It was originally planned as a May release in 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdown.[14]

The story revolves around a psychologically affected serial killer who kills women for passion. Bagheera will have five heroines leading with Deva in the star cast including Amyra Dastur, Remya Nambeesan, Sakshi Agarwal, Janani Iyer, Sanchita Shetty and Gayathrie.[15] Gopinath Ravi is also in the film.[16]

Bagheera has been shot extensively in various locations in Chennai, Kochi, Sri Lanka and Goa.[citation needed]

Music[]

The film's soundtrack and background score is composed by Ganesan Sekar under Think Music label.[citation needed] G. V. Prakash Kumar and Remya Nambeesan have sung a song in this album which is yet to release.[17]
