Ballston Lake is a lake that is located northeast of Burnt Hills, New York in the town of Ballston. Fish species present in the lake are northern pike, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, yellow perch, northern pike, carp, pumpkinseed sunfish, and brown bullhead. There is a private boat launch that can be accessed by paying a fee, located at Villago Restaurant on the east side of the lake. There is a public fishing pier and cartop boat launch on the north shore off Outlet Road.[3]

The lake is meromictic, meaning its deeper waters never mix with the surface layer.[4]
