Barons is an upcoming Australian television drama series set to screen on ABC in 2022.
Synopsis[]
The series is set in the 1970s and centres on two surfers who become fierce rivals as they create billion-dollar empires, winning and losing themselves along the way. The series parallels the story of the pioneers behind the Billabong and Quiksilver surf labels.[1]

The eight part series is filmed in Australia, the United States and Indonesia and air on ABC in 2020. It is created by Michael Lawrence and John Molloy. The writers are Liz Doran, Matt Cameron and Marieke Hardy. The series will be produced by Molloy, Lawrence, Doran and Justin Davies.
