Bathymaster signatus, the searcher, is a fish native to the Northern Pacific Ocean. Its range includes the East Siberian Sea to eastern Kamchatka and the Komandorski Islands, Russia to the state of Washington, United States including the Sea of Okhotsk.[1] It is found off shore to depths of about 300 meters, but has been reported down to 825 m.[1] It can reach a total size over 38 cm.
