The Beechwood Elementary School is a midsized, urban, public school located in the Beechview neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The building was built in 1908. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.[1] The school provides taxpayer funded preschool through 5th grade in 2011. Students who qualify for free or reduced lunch: 63.66%. Enrollment was 333 in 2018.[3] The school is part of the Pittsburgh School District.
Academics[]
In 2010 and 2011, Beechwood Elementary School achieved AYP status.[4] The school's attendance rate was 94% in both 2010 and 2011.[5]

Beechwood has many activities that go on yearly.Roar/RIF assemblies, Spanish club, Art club, Writers Club, Basketball, Cheerleading, etc.
