Bembecia albanensis is a moth of the family Sesiidae. It is found from most of Europe (except Ireland, Fennoscandia, the Benelux, Portugal, Poland, Ukraine and the Baltic region)[2] to Asia Minor and the Black Sea. It is also found in North Africa.[3]

The wingspan is 14–23 millimetres (0.55–0.91 in).

The larvae feed on Ononis species (including Ononis spinosa, , and Ononis repens) and Psoralea bituminosa. The larvae of ssp. tunetana have been recorded feeding on Hedysarum coronarium.
