State Air Company Berkut, commonly known as Berkut Air, was an airline based in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, operated Government charter flights out of Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport.[1][2]
History[]
Berkut was founded in 1999.[3] Along with all other commercial Kazakh airlines with the exception of Air Astana, it was banned from entering EU airspace in April 2009, due to the country's poor maintenance standards.[3]
In 2011 the airline was rebranded as Bek Air.
