William Krantz Smyth (April 8, 1922 – November 6, 1966) was an American football player who played at the defensive end, end, and tackle positions.

A native of Batavia, Ohio, he played college football for Notre Dame, Cincinnati, and Penn State. He was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the seventh round (53rd overall pick) of the 1947 NFL Draft. He played for the Rams from 1947 to 1950 and appeared in a total of 46 NFL games. He caught 13 passes for 123 yards and one touchdown.[1]
