Bradley Clavering (born 14 March 1998) is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays as a loose forward for Dewsbury Rams.

Clavering was born in Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.

Playing career[]

Early career[]

Clavering played his amateur rugby league for the Myton Warriors and the Skirlaugh Bulls, going onto then become a product of the Hull F.C. Academy System.

He is a former England Academy international.[2]

Playing positions[]

He primarily plays as a loose forward, but he can also play in the second-row and as a prop forward.[citation needed]

Senior career[]

Hull Kingston Rovers (2017-18)[]

2017[]

Clavering came through the ranks at cross-city neighbours Hull F.C., but he turned down a contract from the west Hull outfit before he then subsequently signed a deal to play for Hull Kingston Rovers.[3][4]

2018[]

Without playing a single game for the club it was revealed on 10 October 2018, that Clavering would be departing Hull Kingston Rovers following a restructure of the clubs on-field personnel.[5]

Dual-registration (2017-18)[]

2017[]

Clavering played for the Hemel Stags and the York City Knights in 2017,[6] on a dual-registration agreement from his parent-club Hull Kingston Rovers.

2018[]

He also played for the Coventry Bears in 2018, once again on a dual-registration basis.[7]

Hull KR (rejoined)[]

On 14 Feb 2020 it was reported that Clavering would re-join Hull Kingston Rovers[8]

Dewsbury Rams[]

On 26 Sep 2020 the club web site announced that Clavering had signed for Dewsbury Rams[9]
