Canada take on Wales during the 2007 World Cup

The Canada national rugby union team has played in every Rugby World Cup since the inaugural tournament in 1987.[1] Their best performance was in 1991, when they beat Fiji and Romania, qualifying for the quarter-finals, where they lost to New Zealand.

Canada has the second strongest national rugby side in North America after the US, and the fifth strongest in the Americas after Argentina, United States, Uruguay and Chile.
