Cao Lu (Chinese: 曹璐; born August 30, 1987) is a Hmong Chinese singer, actress and television personality.[2] She was a member of the South Korean girl group Fiestar. She is an ethnic Miao.[3]
Pre-debut[]
Prior to her debut, Cao Lu studied at Chung-Ang University in South Korea.[4]
Career[]
Solo debut[]
Lu made her solo debut in China under the name Lu Lu. She released her extended play "Cat(貓咪)" in 2004.[5]
Debut with Fiestar[]
Lu made her debut in the girl group Fiestar in 2012. Her debut showcase was at the Melon Premiere Showcase hosted by 1theK. After six years, it was announced that the group would be disbanding due to the expiration of the other members' contracts on April 30, 2018. Lu's contract expired a month later on May 31. She decided not to renew her contract and left the company.[6]
