Carolina Gaitán (born Carolina del Pilar Gaitán Lozano on April 4, 1984) is a Colombian actress and singer.[1] She studied at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York and her talent and versatility has awarded with two Premios Tu Mundo from Telemundo.[2]
She has starred in series with lead roles in Celia, Sin Senos Sí Hay Paraíso,[3] and Narcos,[4] among many others. She has also worked on several musicals at Colombia's National Theater.[5] As a singer she has lent her voice for many TV theme songs and has her own album composed by her.[6]
She also participated in The Greatest Showman promotional theme "This is Me". She will also lend her voice to the 2021 Disney animated film Encanto.[7]
