Cenk Özkacar (born 6 October 2000) is a Turkish footballer who plays as a defender for Belgian club OH Leuven, on loan from Lyon.
Club career[]
Born in İzmir, Cenk spent his youth career at local teams Bucaspor, Altinordu and Altay. He made his professional debut in 2018, while on loan at Karacabey Belediyespor, before returning to Altay the following year.
On 18 August 2020, Cenk joined French club Olympique Lyonnais on a five-year deal.[1] During his first months in Lyon, the Turkish central defender alternates between games with the reserve team of Olympique Lyonnais and appearances in the professional group without entering the game. On April 21, Cenk made his debut for Lyon as a late substitute for Léo Dubois during a 0-2 loss against AS Monaco in Coupe de France. On 6 July 2021, Belgian First Division A team Oud-Heverlee Leuven presented Özkacar as new player, on loan from Lyon for one season.[2]
