Central District (Ahar County)

The Central District of Ahar County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان اهر) is a district (bakhsh) in Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran.[1] At the 2006 census, its population was 125,253, in 29,323 families.[2] The District has one city: Ahar. The District has six rural districts (dehestan): Azghan Rural District, Bozkosh Rural District, Goyjah Bel Rural District, Owch Hacha Rural District, Qeshlaq Rural District, and Vargahan Rural District.
