Central District (Shahin Dezh County)

The Central District of Shahin Dezh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان شاهین‌دژ) is a district (bakhsh) in Shahin Dezh County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 68,286, in 16,131 families.[1] The District has two cities: Mahmudabad and Shahin Dezh. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Hulasu Rural District, Mahmudabad Rural District, and Safa Khaneh Rural District.
