Central District (Yazd County)
The Central District of Yazd County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان یزد) is a district (bakhsh) in Yazd County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 499,808, in 134,300 families.[1] The District has three cities: Yazd, Shahediyeh, and Hamidiya. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Fahraj Rural District and Fajr Rural District.
