Chandan Prabhakar (born 29 September 1981) is an Indian Actor, stand-up comedian.[1] He was the first runner up in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 3. He had played various roles in Comedy Nights with Kapil on Colors and played the role of Chandu in The Kapil Sharma Show, which aired on Sony TV. Chandan & Kapil are childhood friends.

Career[]

By profession, he is a mechanical engineer but after appearing in great Indian laughter challenge he turned into a comedian.[citation needed] Prabhakar is a childhood friend with Kapil Sharma and they have worked together in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 3, Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show. Some of his most popular characters are Harpal Singh (Hawaldar), Jhanda Singh, Raju and Chandu.[2][3][4]

He completed Mechanical Engineering in Hindu college from Amritsar.[citation needed]
