Charaxes barnsi is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae.[2] It is found on the island of Príncipe.[1][3] The species was named by James John Joicey and George Talbot in 1927.
The butterfly has a purplish color and measures 105 mm.[citation needed] It is considered part of the Charaxes tiridates group.[4]
