The genus Cicinnurus (Vieillot, 1816) consists of three sickletail birds-of-paradise that are classified in two subgenera.[1]
All three species are sexually dimorphic and have bright blue legs and feet. Members of this genus are found in Papua New Guinea or Indonesia, primarily on the island of Irian Jaya and nearby islands.
