Cirkus is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Reliance Entertainment, T-Series and Rohit Shetty Picturez.[2] The film features Ranveer Singh playing a double role for the first time in his career, with Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez as female leads.[3] The film co-stars Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar and Murli Sharma in supporting roles.[4] It is the official adaptation of the 1982 movie Angoor which was based on William Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors.[5][6] It is scheduled for theatrically release on 15 July 2022.[7]
