DEX Imaging is a document imaging dealer based in Tampa, Florida. It operates in printers, copiers, and scanners, as well as document software.[1]

Growth[]

DEX was founded in 2002,[2] with CEO Dan Doyle Jr. and his father.[3] In 2013, DEX acquired U.S. Imaging Solutions and Tonertype.[4][5][6] During June 2015, DEX acquired Memphis, Tennessee-based MidSouth Digital.[7] During that same month, TotalPrint LLC came under the control of DEX.[8] In July 2016, DEX acquired the business Modular Document Solutions, which operated 15 locations, all in Florida.[citation needed] In October 2016, DEX acquired Omega Office Systems for $3 million.[9] In January 2017, DEX bought the assets of Digitec, with details not released.[10]

DEX has 48 locations in the eastern United States; and operates a regional distribution center in Pompano Beach.[4]

Recognition[]

The company's CEO, Dan Doyle Jr., garnered honors as CEO from Ernst & Young.[11] DEX has been spotlighted for giving one-third of its profits to non-profit organizations, and another third to its employees.[12]

Partnerships and Sponsorships[]

DEX has sponsored NASCAR driver Harrison Burton since 2013, following him in series such as the ARCA Racing Series, K&N Pro Series West and East, and the Camping World Truck Series.[13] DEX also sponsors the Home Plate Club at Tropicana Field, home of the MLB's Tampa Bay Rays.[14] There is also a DEX Imaging Skyline Suite at the Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando, Florida.[15]

In January 2018, Dex Imaging sponsored the South All Stars women's rugby team, who won the inaugural NSCRO All Star 7s Championship in St. Petersburg, Florida.[16]
