Danil Pavlovych Skorko (Ukrainian: Даніл Павлович Скорко; born 11 July 2002) is a professional Ukrainian football defender who plays for Zorya Luhansk.[1][2]

Club career[]

Early years[]

Danyo Skorko started his career at Yunist Chernihiv under the guidance of the coach Yuriy Melashenko in the city of Chernihiv until 2016.

Dynamo Kyiv[]

At age 14 he moved to Kyiv and started playing for the under-19 squad of Dynamo Kyiv. He made his debut on 2 September 2018 in the match against Mairupol, coming on as a substitute in the 82nd minute replacing Maksym Duhan. For "Dynamo" U21 made his debut on March 9, 2019 in the match Dynamo Kyiv U21 - Arsenal-Kyiv U21 (3: 0).[3] On 21 November 2020 he has been included in the senior team of Dynamo Kyiv on the bench, during the match away against Inhulets Petrove at the Zirka Stadium for the Ukrainian Premier League during the season 2020–21.[4]On 24 November 2020 he has been included in the beanch, in the team against Barcelona in UEFA Champions League in the season 2020–21 at NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium[5][6]

Chornomorets Odesa[]

In July 2021 he moved on loan to Chornomorets Odesa.[7] On 25 July 2021 he made his league debut in the losing away match against Desna Chernihiv at the Stadion Yuri Gagarin in Chernihiv in his home city.[8]On 23 September 2021 he played in Ukrainian Cup against Prykarpattia Ivano-Frankivsk getting into the Round of 16 of the competition in the season 2021-22.[9][10]>On 27 October 2021 he played again in 2021-22 against Shakhtar Donetsk for the Round of 16 at the Chornomorets Stadium in Odessa.[11]In January 2022 he returned to Dynamo Kyiv.

Zorya Luhansk[]

On 13 January 2022, he moved to Zorya Luhansk in Ukrainian Premier League, signing a 3 years contract with the club until 2025.[12][13][14]He made his debut with the new club in the friendly match against Pogoń Szczecin.[15]

International career[]

On 13 October 2018 he scored his first goal for the Ukraine national under-17 football team against Gibraltar.[16][17]On 13 October 2021, he played also for the Ukraine Under 21 against Northern Ireland Under 21 at the Ballymena Showgrounds in Ballymena.[18]
