Danny Allan (born 9 April 1989 in York, North Yorkshire, England) is a professional rugby league footballer who most recently played for Oxford Rugby League in League 1. He previously played for the York City Knights, the Hunslet Hawks, the Featherstone Rovers and Doncaster in the Championship, and for the Leeds Rhinos in the Super League. He plays as a stand-off.

He made his début for Leeds against Castleford Tigers 2007 at stand-off in place of Danny McGuire on international duties.[3]

He retired from professional game in 2016.[citation needed]

Danny is “rumoured” to be making a come back to the game he made his own throughout his playing days. The rumours were confirmed when rugby league pundit Paul 'the wheelbarrow' Wilkes confirmed he would be signing him for his new reign at the Hinpool bear pioneers.

Danny re-joins local club Heworth ARLFC for the 2020 season.
