David Abelson (born 13 February 1975) is a Canadian former professional tennis player.

Abelson, a collegiate player for Miami University, was a Canadian representative at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg. He made the singles second round and the quarter-finals of the doubles.[1]

On the professional tour, Abelson made his only ATP Tour main draw appearance at the 2000 Canadian Open, partnering Simon Larose in the doubles event.[2]
