Dawid Tomala (born August 27, 1989 in Tychy) is a Polish race walker and current Olympic champion in the 50km walk, having won gold in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He additionally represented his country at the 2012 Olympic Games in London finishing 19th in the 20 kilometers walk.[1]
Tomala began race walking in 2003 at the UKS Maraton Korzeniowski club in Bierun, Poland. He is coached by his father, Grzegorz Tomala.[1]
