Deliverance (initially Pleasant Plain) was a small settlement in Mt Ayr Township, Osborne County, Kansas, United States.
History[]
Pleasant Plain/Deliverance was never a ghost town by any stretch of the imagination, but it was a rural post office in a farmhouse - nothing more. Pleasant Plain was first located near the head of Little Medicine Creek.[2] Pleasant Plain was issued a post office in 1878. The post office name was changed to Deliverance in 1894, then discontinued in 1904.[3] The population in 1910 was 20.[2]
