Demiurge Studios is an American video game developer founded in 2002 by Albert Reed, Chris Linder and Tom Lin. The company is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts.[1] Demiurge Studios has developed multiple original video games for mobile, PC, and console platforms. The studio has also contributed engineering, art, and design services to over two dozen titles in a co-development capacity.

In February 2015, Demiurge was acquired by Sega and became part of their mobile gaming subsidiary, Sega Networks.[2] In April 2020, Albert Reed, one of the original founders and CEO from 2002 to 2015, acquired the studio when Sega shut down its Sega Networks group.[3]

Demiurge is currently working on several co-development projects and an unannounced original title.

In August 2021, Embracer Group announced the acquisition of the company with the studio becoming a subsidiary of Saber Interactive.[4]
