Demotina is a genus of leaf beetles in the subfamily Eumolpinae. There are over 50 described species in Demotina.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12] The genus is native to Asia, Australia and Oceania, though one species (Demotina modesta) is an adventive species in the southeastern United States in North America.[7] Some species are known to be parthenogenetic.[12]
