Doli Armaanon Ki, (transl. Palanquin of dreams) (International title: Lies of the Heart), was an Indian television drama series.[1][2] It premiered on 2 December 2013,[3][4] and ran until 25 September 2015.[5] It was aired on ZEE TV Monday through Friday.[6]
Plot[]
Doli Armaanon Ki is a story of Urmi, a girl in Jhansi, who marries Samraat, an abusive man, making her life hell. Urmi finds out she is pregnant with samrat's child

Urmi and samrat has a son named shaurya . An uncle of samrat arrives and helps urmi stand up for herself but it angers samrat and he beats urmi . Urmi decides to file a case against samrat for hitting her but after some complications urmi forgives samrat but caught him cheating on her and she leaves with shaurya. Samrat's friend ishaan helps urmi but falls for her .Samrat tries to kill urmi but is sentenced to 6 years in prison
6 years later
Urmi owns a restaurant with ishaan's help . Ishaan proposed to urmi but at first she rejects him but later accepted him. Samrat returns to take revenge on urmi and ishaan. He marries ishaan's sister to get closer to them. Shaurya is revealed to have cancer and needs bone marrow but it is revealed it was samrat's plan to ruin urmi's life. Urmi is revealed to be pregnet. Samrat tries to kill urmi but ishaan dies saving samrat. Samrat kills himself become of guilt but ishaan's mother blames urmi for ishaan's death
20 years later
Urmi leaves with her in laws but her daughter hates her because ishaan's mother convinces her that urmi killed ishaan. Shaurya falls in love with a woman named diya and they marry. Later Ishaani Urmi's daughter comes to know of Damini's reality and apologizes to Urmi for her misunderstanding towards her and reconciles with her and sends Damini Ishaan's mother to Jail but the latter escapes from Jail to kill the entire family left with no other option Urmi shoots Damini and they all lived happily ever after.

Initially Mohit Malik rejected the role then Rahil Azam was signed for the show but was eventually replaced by Mohit Malik.
Chhavi Pandey auditioned for Parvati Sehgal's role but got rejected by the makers.
Karan Tacker was approached for Ishaan's role before finalizing Vibhav Roy in it but Karan rejected the role because of some personal issues.
Nikita Sharma was offered a role in the show which was earlier played by Priya Shinde in the show.
Falaq Naaz was chosen for playing the elder Anushka in the show after the five-year leap replacing Mehendi Jain as the younger one which was a strong character of an IPS Officer in the show but the makers scrapped her role because of too many characters in the six-year leap.
Mohit Malik was to play the role of adult Shaurya after leap but he quit the show because of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
Saurabh Raaj Jain was offered Shaurya's role which was later played by Kunal Karan Kapoor in the show.
Kanchi Singh was offered Nalini Negi's role but declined it as she thought it was a negative character.
Rajat Tokas was approached for the show but declined the part Gaurav Chopra played the part later.
