Drive My Car (Japanese: ドライブ・マイ・カー, Hepburn: Doraibu mai kā) is a 2021 Japanese drama film co-written and directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi, based on the short story of the same name by Haruki Murakami from his 2014 short story collection Men Without Women.[1][2] It was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.[3] At Cannes, it won the Best Screenplay, the FIPRESCI Prize and the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury.[4][5]
