Plot[]

In the late nineteenth century, brutal land baron Seamus Laurent slaughters a Roma clan, unleashing a curse on his family and village. The locals suspect a wild animal, but visiting pathologist John McBride warns of a more sinister presence lurking in the woods.

Reception[]

The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes surveyed 63 critics and, categorizing the reviews as positive or negative, assessed 48 as positive and 15 as negative for a 76% rating. The critics consensus reads: "For a werewolf movie, Eight for Silver is frustratingly lacking in killer instinct -- but its intriguing additions to well-worn mythology add some necessary bite."[4]
