Elsteraue is a municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated near the White Elster river, about 30 km (20 mi) southwest of Leipzig. It is divided into many municipal districts:

- Göbitz (Göbitz, Maßnitz, Torna)
