Emmanuel Marie Philippe Louis Lafont (born 26 October 1945) is a French prelate of the Catholic Church who was Bishop of Cayenne in French Guiana from 2004 to 2020.
Lafont was ordained a priest in 1970.
Pope John Paul II named him Bishop of Cayenne on 18 June 2004. [1]
Pope Francis accepted his resignation on 26 October 2020, his 75th birthday.[2]
