Evgeny Ukhanov

Evgeny Ukhanov (born 1982 in Horlivka, Donetsk oblast) is a Ukrainian-Australian pianist.

He commenced learning the piano at age seven in the Ukraine and gave his first concert performance in Russia at age nine. He was a major prize winner in the in Senigallia, Italy in 1997. In 1998 he moved to Australia[1] and studied at the Australian Institute of Music.[2] He won 3rd prize in the Sydney International Piano Competition in 2000.[3] He gained Australian citizenship in 2004.

Evgeny has recorded solo and chamber music for radio and television (ABC and SBS) as well as being featured in the TV series “Prodigy”.
