History[]
FC Miami City (or FC Miami) was founded in 2014 by Ravy Truchot and Wagneau Eloi, to bring a top-level soccer team to Miami, Florida through the USL Premier Development League (PDL) - considered the fourth division of the American soccer pyramid, roughly equal to the National Premier Soccer League - while supporting youth development and coaching by former professional players.[2]
The club was originally coached by head coach Wagneau Eloi and assistant coach Eric Rabesandratana; both former professional players with a broad range of experience in coaching for adult and youth players in the highest level such as the Haitian National Team.[dubious ][citation needed]
