Faiz Mattoir (born 12 July 2000) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Cholet, on loan from AC Ajaccio. Born in the French overseas province of Mayotte, Mattoir represents the Comoros national team.
Club career[]
Mattoir made his senior debut with Ajaccio in a 1–1 Ligue 2 tie with Clermont Foot on 22 November 2019.[1] He signed his first professional contract with the club on 10 June 2020.[2]
International career[]
Born in the French overseas province of Mayotte, Mattoir is of Comorian descent.[3] Mattoir debuted for the Comoros national team in a 1–1 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualification tie with Kenya on 11 November 2020.[4]
