Fish upon the Sky (Thai: ปลาบนฟ้า; RTGS: Pla Bon Fah, also known as "Fish from the Sky, Fish upon the Sky") is a 2021 Thai television series starring Phuwin Tangsakyuen (Phuwin), Naravit Lertratkosum (Pond), Trai Nimtawat (Neo) and Thanawin Teeraphosukarn (Louis). The series is based on the novel of the same name created and written by JittiRain, whose also behind the hit novel-turned-series Theory of Love and 2gether: The Series (with its respective sequels Still 2gether and 2gether: The Movie)
Directed by Sakon Wongsinwiset (Golf) and produced by GMMTV, the series is one of sixteen television series of GMMTV's offering for 2021 during their "GMMTV 2021: The New Decade Begins" event on 3 December 2020.[1][2][3] The series premiered on GMM 25 and LINE TV on 9 April 2021,[4] airing on Fridays at 20:30 ICT and 22:30 ICT, respectively. It replaced the timeslot of A Tale of Thousand Stars on GMM25[5] The series concluded on 25 June 2021 and replaced by the rerun of 2gether: The Series and its sequel Still 2gether on its timeslot on GMM25. The series had an rerun from 25 September, 2021 to 22 October, 2021 every Fridays to Sundays at 8:30 pm on GMM25 replacing the rerun of its predecessor A Tale of Thousand Stars' timeslot. The rerun concluded on 22 October 2021 and replaced by the new series Bad Buddy Series on its Friday timeslot and the rerun of I'm Tee, Me Too on its Saturday and Sunday timeslot on GMM25.
Summary[]
Pi is a nerdy second-year dentistry student, who secretly has a crush on Muang Nan, a kind-hearted, handsome fellow second-year student in the Allied Health Sciences Department. Along with Nan's warm and kind personality, Pi's looks and confidence is not enough, and feels helpless. He consulted his older brother, Duean on what is wrong with him. He find out what it is. When he realized it, he ask for help to Duean, and with the help of him and his Kitty Gang, they help him to get a transformation from a nerdy-boy to a handsome, stylish one to have enough courage to woo Nan.
When Pi finally has the confidence to confess to Nan, he will meet Mork, an attractive yet popular medical student who is always on Muang Nan's side, considered Mork as his rival.
Pi felt discouraged and hopeless trying to surpass Mork. He tried to call in help from his older brother, but instead of helping, Duean will meet Meen, a first-year medical student whose Duean's classmate in the Life Skills subject, resulting seeking another help into nothing and Duean focused on lying on Meen.
Therefore, Duean and his gang can help trying to surpass Mork's attempt in getting Nan's attention, he also tried to face it alone but he is not lucky enough to beat him. However, everything starts to change as Pi begins experiencing in-denial of feelings into Mork, making it more confused and even ask his heart on who will be pursuing for. Will he continue to confessed his feelings to Nan? Or a in-denial love will blossom and changed towards Mork?[6]

- Phuwin Tangsakyuen (Phuwin) as Pattawee "Pi" Panichapun - A nerdy, lousy yet extremely cute second-year Dentistry student. He's an introverted, complicated person, unsporty, focused on studies, anti-social and doesn't care about his appearance, such as having a thick glasses and braces, factors why he being bullied. With this, he decided to change into a hot and handsome guy to be fit enough for Muang Nan. He always deny his feelings for Mork until suddenly he will realize that he fallen for him.
- Naravit Lertratkosum (Pond) as Sutthaya "Mork" Nithikornkul - A hot, but cool and handsome second-year Medical student who always like to tease Pi to get his attention. Muang Nan's bestfriend and has a long time secret crush on Pi. He later revealed that he is "A Guy at the Nearby Faculty" and Pi's love interest.
- Trai Nimtawat (Neo) as Dollawee "Duean" Panichapun - A sharped-tongue and tight-lipped fifth-year Engineering student. A leader of Kitty Gang, Pi's second older brother and lately will fall in love with Meen.
- Thanawin Teeraphosukarn (Louis) as Sittha "Meen" Nithikornkul - A first-year med student, Mork's younger brother and later, Duean's love interest.[7]
- Sahaphap Wongratch (Mix) as Muang Nan - A kind and handsome second-year student of Allied Health Sciences Department, Mork's bestfriend and Pi's crush.

| Pi goes to the mall to meet the Kitty Gang, he sees Mork, who wants to apologize to Pi. The next day, Mork sees Pi already transformed. But when Pi got out of the campus vehicle, he made a mistake getting off, causing him to run and faint. Mork subsequently helped him. | |||

| Muang Nan saw Pi praising her transformation of her appearance, Pi invited Nan to go to an event. Meanwhile, Pi's classmates talked about the Gross Lab story. so he believed and went at dawn, Mork also went there, horror enveloped the lab itself. The next day, Muang Nan agreed to go to the event. In the evening, Pi went to the event and saw Mork. but when Pi must have been accustomed to confessing to Nan. Pi kissed not Nan, but he rather kissed Mork. | |||

| While Duean and Meen are in Nakhon Village for their Group project, Pi continued to avoid its feelings for Mork. To stop the harassment, he confesses to Nan, meanwhile, the Kitty Gang goes to where Meen and Duean are, while Duean is still hiding his true identity. The night after the teaching lesson with the villagers, Meen discovered the Lab Gown worn by Duean and research the named printed on it. Pi, on the other hand, went to Nan to admit how he really feel, but Nan didn't feel it, so he rejected it. Then as Mork approached him, they drink alcohol before the former explained the comparisons between caring a flower and love. Not long after that, Pi passed out before Mork brought him on their house, in which he changed his clothes before leaving on his way home. There, he caught his mother opening her book with a photo of Nan, causing him to avoid her and leave. While walking on a heavy rain, Pi cried all of his sadness and Mork caught up to sympathize with him. | |||

Pi and Duean's older brother, Wan went home to visit them and to introduce his boyfriend, causing little misunderstanding, but in a while, it was also fixed. And in sleep time. Mork went at Pi's house to talked his real feelings for him. Meanwhile, Meen avoids Duean because of lying. Duean also deals with Meen and confess that he's sad when Meen is not at his side. At the other side, Mork had an interview with Kluea Kang and Prik Pao about his feelings for Pi, reason for Pi to get even angrier and avoid him more abd stopping Prik Pao at Kluea Kang shipped them. Because of this, Mork finds a way to show up Pi's feelings on him. It also revealed that he is the "Guy at the Nearby Faculty" where he is the one who talks to Pi. Meanwhile, Mork visited Pi's house to see him and Pi gave an probation on their relationship and Mork sealed with a kiss. When Pi wants to kiss back to Mork, then Duean came and asking Pi who's the person he been talked. Mork finds different places in the house to hide, while Duean confused on Pi's weird act. While on the bed, Duean finds ways to caught out Pi's secret but unluckily he doesn't found out. But Duean sees Pi delivering Mork to the gate and shooed him. Meanwhile, while the two avoid Prik Pao and people gossiping them. Meen and Duean still flirting and Duean find out that Pi and Mork are secretly dating. | |||

| After Duean's confirmation of Pi and Mork's secret relationship, Duean lectured Pi and Mork, after awhile, Mork and Pi met and Mork invited Pi to eat somewhere, but he refused because Duean and his gang will be at the bar, introducing Yok's girlfriend. Mork want to be there but Pi doesn't want to. Meanwhile, while at the bar, Meen called Duean to remind about their tutoring session then left the bar, Leaving Pi and the Gang. While Mork is seeing Pi at the distance, Duean and Meen planned to be at Meen's place. But Duean's imagination running wild, when they reach the house, Duean still thinking malicious on Meen to the point he shouted and Mork heard about it. While reaching to fight, Meen stopped and said that Mork is his older brother, after, Mork and Duean talked about their feelings for their each others younger brother. Next day, Pi confused on Duean's action on Mork. While thinking about Bam and Mork's fandom comments, Pi felt jealous and confused. Duean celebrated his passed test with Meen and the Gang, coming to the point that Duean forces Meen to deink and have a quarrel, while Pi is mad at Mork about the comments. | |||

| The night, Pi came to Mork's birthday, surprises came along, meanwhile, Pi felt uncomfortable about #MorkBam comments. Pi confirms they see each other, but an old photo of Pi leaked online, making Pi hates Mork more. Next day, Mork met Pi but Pi refuses to talk to him. Then Bam confuses that she uploaded the photo and decided to help Mork to reconcile with Pi. Meanwhile, Duean apologized to Meen for what happened in the bar. Meanwhile, Pi went to the rooftop of the building for an surprise. But a surprise becames more surprisingly when Duean and Kitty Gang mislead the surprise in giving way for Mork, until Mork explained everything and confesses about his real feelings and ask him to be his boyfriend. He accept it with a kiss. Meanwhile, while hurting, Koh approaches Bam. In the other hand, Duean asks Meen to be his boyfriend in the end of Meen's play of Snow White. Meen already accepted the question and kissed Duean. Then the following day, Nan shows up to Pi and Mork. After two years, Pi is an dentist and Mork is an medical doctor. | |||

Virtual live fan meeting[]
On 3 August 2021, months after the series ended, GMMTV announced on its social media platforms[10] that the series will have its first live virtual fan meeting entitled "Fish upon the Sky Live Fan Meeting: A Sky Full of Fish" wherein, the main characters (Phuwin Tangsakyuen, Naravit Lertratkosum (Pond), Trai Nimtawat (Neo), Thanawin Teeraphosukarn (Louis) and Sahaphap Wongratch (Mix)) are part of the said event. It occurred on 4 September 2021.[11][12]
