Design	The flag of the Buryat ASSR is a variant of the flag of the Russian SFSR with the "Бурятская АССР" and "Буряадай АССР" (Buryatskaya ASSR and Buryaaday ASSR) inscription below the hammer and sickle.

The flag of Buryatia, officially the State Flag of the Republic of Buryatia,^[a] is one of the official symbols of the Republic of Buryatia—a federal subject of Russia.
